We’ve already received a number of “tasty” entries for our “Picnic Pot Luck Recipe Contest“.
Everything from some killer salad recipes, to delicious barbecue recipes and everything in between. It makes me hungry just reading them. Still plenty of time for everyone to submit their entry. The contest is open until May 31 with the GRAND PRIZE, a 10-Piece Stainless Steel Cookware Set from All-Clad, valued at $699. This set has been a best seller at Cookin’ Stuff for years.
We’ve received so many great entries, we going to add second and third place prizes. Stay tuned on that.
Cookin’ Stuff carries so many fantastic products and want people to take advantage of our wonderful selection.
So, beginning this month (April) and into May we’re featuring 10% discounts on selected products Monday thru Friday. One day it could be cutlery, another day bakeware. We have a calendar at the front of our store as well as other signage at the cash register and in featured aisles.
We’ll also have the calendar posted right here on the website. In addition to our daily specials, we have product demos every Saturday and Sunday.
It’s a great way to see a product in use by one of our sales associates. You can also try it out yourself before purchasing.
We’ve received dozens of compliments on our recent store remodel.
People love the wider aisles and the easy access shelving. Aesthetically, the store is brighter and looks so much tidier. (One of my pet peeves is sloppy product display and messy shelves).
If you haven’t stopped in, please visit soon.
My weekend manager and resident chef, Ken Mitchell, has been sick and in the hospital. We wish him a speedy recovery.
Our customers miss you Ken –so do we. ! When Ken returns, our website with feature a new section “COOKIN’ & BAKIN’ With KEN”. People can submit questions and Ken will respond online. Ken will also have podcasts where he will discuss the latest and greatest products at Cookin’ Stuff.
Cookin’ Stuff’s interior remodel continues as we installed another aisle of new shelving the week before Easter.
The new white shelving with board panel background creates a shopper friendly atmosphere and makes the entire store brighter.
Products are displayed more prominently and far easier to access. For inventory purposes, the shelving units come with drawers at the base where we can keep products instead of always having to schlep back to the warehouse to restock.
A special thank you to my husband, Ajim, who enlisted hard working guys from his construction company to do a lot of the heavy lifting.
