Cookin Stuff holds it’s annual food drive, “WE CAN DO IT” Thursday June 14 though Sunday June 17. Anyone bringing in two or more non-perishable food products will receive 10% off purchases and a free gift. 2007 marks the store’s fifth year working in conjunction with the L A Regional FoodBank, which serves over 500,000 meals weekly to
L A County hungry. Annually, the FoodBank distributes over 38 million pounds of food assisting charities like soup kitchens, child care centers and battered women shelters.
“The great thing about this event is that the collected food goes to help people in our own area,” says Stacey.
